For healthy living, <em>Ayurveda</em> emphasizes on consuming right kind of diet which provide health and nutrition.<em> Viruddha Ahara</em> is a unique concept described in <em>Ayurveda</em> The diet which disturbs the balance among the body elements is called <em>Viruddha Ahara</em> (Incompatible diet).It can be further elaborated as certain diet and its combinations, which interrupts the metabolism of tissue, which inhibits the process of formation of tissue and which have the opposite property to the tissue are called as <em>Viruddha Anna</em> or incompatible diet.
