Abstract

The primary aim of Ayurveda has been disease prevention, with medical intervention utilized     when necessary. Ayurveda originated thousands of years ago, and its definition of health is similar to that of a person who is in perfect physical, mental, and spiritual equilibrium. The medicinal system known as Ayurveda offers guidance on how-to live-in harmony with nature. Out of the eight divisions of Ayurveda, Shalyatantra is the one where we focus specifically on managing lifestyle issues associated to the valuable supraclavicular organ. In this article we will discuss Jaloukawacharana that is the use of Leach in management of surgical field.
