Abstract

Dadruvidravan Malhar is developed on the basis of Malhar Kalpana process mentioned in Rasatarangni, which is very effective in Dadru. Dadruvidravan Malhar is a great composition given in Rasa Tarangni, which is describe very effective in Dadru. Its constituent is, Gandhaka, Tankana, Chakramarda, Tila Tail seed, Laksha and Shiktha. Sikthatail acts as an emollient or as a base in the preparation of Malhar. Almost all ingredients are Kusthaghna, especially Chakramarda, which is well known Kushthaghna, Kandughna, Dadrughna. Its seed is anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, anti bacterial and effective in skin diseases.
