Abstract

AYURVED is the ancient science of India. Though there are many practitioners of AYURVED and thousands of students taking admissions to this field every year, AYURVED  is not accepted wholeheartedly in India itself and hence whether globalization is possible or not remains a question. It is observed that students opt for AYURVED only when they do not have chance for getting admission to MBBS and finally end up into frustration in their student life as well in future practice. Hence it is very much necessary to understand the psychology of students seeking admission to AYURVED .In this present study an attempt is made to collect the opinions of students admitted to first BAMS regarding AYURVED. The information is collected through a questionnaire containing 14 questions and the conclusion is drawn.
